Getting colder and colder
cold rain and wips through narrow streets
we do not go to school,
because of an epidemic
a terrible time
you can not settle down
people have secretly heard the radio
we who live in the ghetto
its cold and sad
read reports dailyeager for good news
everyone is waiting for something
the final defeat of Germany

A red red rose by Robert Burns,
this poem gives or in other words transfers to you a feeling that love is a very amazing thing that every one has the right of experiencing once or more than once in there life time. That is why I think that this poem is comparing the love that Robert Burns has for another person as a red rose. In line one it states "O my love is like a red,red rose"which demonstrates that at least a little bit of the poem is on how Robert's love is like a red, red rose.

This poem describes on how not all love relationships are the same and how they are not all perfect. Also how some relationships change and they hurt themselves and sometimes they also hurt the other person. In line 15 it says" Everything we'd built, destroyed" that line is one of the manny that make me believe that this poem is about how you hurt and with the pain you hurt or hurt someone else.
